With a new season comes the opportunity for new players to shine, and with the way that the roster is currently constructed for the Charlotte Hornets, there could be significant opportunities for breakout candidates.

Uncertainty around the Miles Bridges situation as well as Gordon Hayward’s injury history could result in minutes for some other players. There are plenty of players on the roster that have things to prove in their respective situations, and three of them in particular have great chances to do just that in the 2022-23 season.
