Terry Rozier (2019-Present)

A polarizing acquisition just three years ago, Terry Rozier has endeared himself to Hornets fans since his arrival in Charlotte. Over the course of those three years, Rozier has posted averages of 19.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists while appearing in 207 of a possible 221 games. Always capable of a scoring explosion, Rozier is responsible for four of the seven highest individual scoring performances by a Charlotte player in his time with the team.

Rozier has also proven to be a reliable shooter from both three-point range and from the free throw line; he has shot 39% from three-point range and 85% from the free throw line with the Hornets.

The arrival of LaMelo Ball has made Rozier a more efficient player, as he has been able to play his more natural position of shooting guard. Rozier’s turnovers have decreased in each of the last three seasons while his assists have increased. This culminated in Rozier having an assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.3 in 2022, the best mark of any Charlotte player.

Rozier has also proven to be a clutch performer, leading the Hornets in fourth quarter scoring in each of the last two seasons while registering the best fourth quarter plus-minus of any Charlotte player in 2022.

He is also responsible for this incredible buzzer-beater that lifted the Hornets to an overtime victory against the Golden State Warriors in 2021.

Although the Hornets have dropped each of their play-in tournament games in the last two seasons, Rozier has played well individually, averaging 18.5 points per game. That is the highest mark among Hornets players who appeared in both games.

Now entering his age-29 season, Rozier certainly has the opportunity and the potential to climb higher on this list by the time it is all said and done.
