In perhaps some of the best news during what has otherwise been a tumultuous offseason, the Charlotte Hornets broadcast team of Eric Collins, Dell Curry, and Ashley ShahAhmadi will be returning to call Hornets games this season on Bally Sports Southeast.

Collins enters his eighth season as the play-by-play voice of the Hornets after beginning in the role ahead of the 2015-16 season. Curry represents the veteran of the group, as the legendary Hornets sixth man now enters his 14th season as Charlotte’s color analyst. ShahAhmadi, Charlotte’s in-game reporter, now enters her fifth season with the broadcast team.

Bally Sports Southeast will carry 81 Hornets games this season, with the lone exception coming on January 26th when Charlotte hosts the Chicago Bulls in a nationally televised game on a Thursday night. That contest is scheduled to be aired on TNT.

In addition to the regular season, Bally Sports Southeast will carry two Hornets preseason games, beginning with a contest against the Boston Celtics that will take place in nearby Greensboro, North Carolina at the Greensboro Coliseum. Three nights later, Bally Sports Southeast will once again televise the Hornets as they play host to the Washington Wizards, this time in Charlotte’s Spectrum Center.
