Don’t look now, but the Charlotte Hornets will play basketball in less than a month’s time.

The offseason has gone by quickly, and while being excited for the beginning of the season is easy, there is never a bad time to think about the future of the team. While the Charlotte Hornets are still in somewhat of a rebuild, they could be an attractive location for players in the next few years.

There are several current players in the NBA that fans would love to see play with the Charlotte Hornets for various reasons.

Omitted from this list are obvious franchise players that are under 30 years old such as Ja Morant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, etc. The players listed are either not franchise centerpieces or are veterans who may become available in their twilight years.
