Outside Looking In:

James Bouknight

Mark Williams

Kai Jones

JT Thor

If history repeats itself, these will be players on the fringe of the rotation. In his last stint with the Hornets, Clifford elected to play veterans over some developmental young players. and as the rosters sits right now, James Bouknight, Kai Jones, JT Thor and Mark Williams will all be fighting for rotational minutes. If an injury occurs, they are more than capable of coming in and providing solid minutes for the Hornets. The roster is so crowded that these players will have to have a breakthrough in their development from last season to surpass the veterans it seems. All four of these players could possibly receive meaningful minutes in the 2022 season.
