A strong night from the free throw line

Playing without LaMelo Ball, Terry Rozier, and Gordon Hayward, the Hornets made it a point to get to the foul line and generate some easy points. The results showed, as Charlotte set a new season high in free throws made (25) and tied their season high for free throws attempted (31). Charlotte’s 80.6% conversion rate from the free throw line was their second-highest mark in any game this season.

James Bouknight had a positive performance

Second-year guard James Bouknight had a solid night, posting 14 points, five assists, four rebounds, and one steal while shooting 70% from the field. Interestingly, Bouknight did not attempt a three-pointer despite playing 28 minutes. Entering tonight, he had 16 career appearances in which he did not attempt a three-pointer, but he did not play more than seven minutes in any of those contests.
