Trade 3: Terry Rozier to Toronto

Toronto receives Terry Rozier, 2026 first-round pick (top 10 protected)

Charlotte receives Gary Trent Jr., Malachi Flynn, 2023 second-round pick.

Terry Rozier gives Toronto a long-term offensive partner for Pascal Siakam, who is having a career year. Rozier is a solidified 20+ Point per game scorer who can pass the ball and shoot at a high level. Trent has been in trade talks all season. While he is having an inconsistent season, Trent is still a very good, young 2-guard. With Toronto losing more games than they’d ideally want to, trading for someone to juice the offense around Siakam, Scottie Barnes, and OG Anunoby could capitalize on the talent they have on the roster.

With their recent willingness to listen to offers for the veterans, The Hornets are signaling that they’re willing to commit to fully retooling around Lamelo Ball. Hopefully, The Hornets can capitalize on their veteran talent and grab some draft capital or young talent.
