LaMelo Ball

Ok, this one may be a bit of a surprise. Ball isn’t known as a scorer; despite the impressive numbers he’s already put up. His passing is a gift in every sense of the word. It’s such a powerful weapon, that it would prevent defenders from doubling him once Ball got hot and started to challenge the 71-point barrier.

Ball has no conscience when it comes to putting up three-pointers. He’s a player that has grown up watching Steph Curry and Lillard pull up from the logo in the middle of the possession because it’s a shot that they practice. Ball has been practicing too.

And his shooting reflects the time put in, and the confidence the preparation has built. Ball is attempting over 10 three-pointers a game this season and is making them at a 36.7% clip. By comparison, Lillard didn’t attempt more than 10 threes a game until his eighth season in the league. Ball may not be the scorer of the other guys on this list, but his confidence in himself and his shot make him a candidate to go above 70 in a single game.
