Orlando Magic vs Charlotte Hornets

In the final matchup between the division opponents, the Orlando Magic came in to seal the season series. Their win against the Hornets gave them a 3-1 advantage on the season. The game was a matchup between teams with the fifth (Magic) and fourth-fewest wins this season. Both teams will miss the playoffs, but with the seasons likely Rookie of the Year award-winner Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner have put up, the future looks bright in Orlando.

The Hornets put up a valiant effort, but in the end, couldn’t keep up with the scoring firepower of the Magic—who are 25th in the league in offensive efficiency. 21 turnovers reminded everyone why Charlotte could use their normal starting point guard. Banchero led all scorers with 31 points and had his first multiple-made three-point field goals since Jan 30th.
