The Best Charlotte Hornets NBA draft picks in franchise history, 10-6.

LaMelo Ball
Ok, this might be either too high or too low. He definitely has to be on this list, but he could easily crack the top 5…or be number 10. He’s a former Rookie of the Year. He’s one of the most exciting young players in the league. He’s a legitimate star and has been for years. Even people outside of basketball know Ball.
The real strikes against him being higher are the fact that he hasn’t made a real postseason yet. As good as he has been, and he’s been exceptional, he hasn’t led the Hornets to much team success. That is, in large part, due to his inability to stay healthy—the other strike against him. The best ability is availability, and he has missed 84 games through three seasons. If he can stay healthy, the wins will come. And he’ll be higher on the next iteration of this list.
