Kai Jones

The 6’11 center is a whirlwind of athleticism. He’s been up and down from the G-league Greensboro Swarm. In fact, his current six-game playing streak is his longest since mid-December. Jones is a more classic big man, a rim runner and rim protector. His athleticism makes him a shot-blocking, high-rebound player. While not a shooter, he could be a threat as a screener with his ability to roll hard to the basket and become a lob threat.

Unfortunately, he won’t be playing alongside LaMelo Ball—a great passer who could exploit the 3D nature of his lob attack. But showing his motor over the course of these last few games could really help him earn time for next season under Clifford (who had this to say about Jones earlier this season).
