Kemba Walker

Kemba Walker’s basketball tenure with the Hornets ended several seasons ago during 2018-19. The franchise’s all-time scorer then went to the Boston Celtics in a sign-and-trade that brought back Terry Rozier (Walker’s final Hornets assist). He made stops with his hometown New York Knicks, and finally with the Dallas Mavericks. The 12-year veteran only played in nine games for the Mavs.

Walker hasn’t officially announced a retirement, but he hasn’t played more than 56 games in a season since his last year in Charlotte and was released in Dallas. But it would be nice to celebrate the franchise’s best player in what could be its biggest moment.
