3 positive outcomes for the Charlotte Hornets in 2023-24

The consensus is that the Charlotte Hornets will be better this season. While the potential outcomes that would lead to a disastrous season were covered in a previous article, this will be a look at the opposite end of the spectrum. Focusing on the potential positive outcomes that could come from the upcoming 2023-24 season.

1. Make the Play-In Tournament and advance

This would be huge for the Charlotte Hornets. Being able to rebound in a way that would see them not only making the Play-In Tournament but advancing to the actual playoffs would be a monumental shift in the franchise’s future.

Not only would this be the result of the development of their younger players, but it would also show a more stable state of the organization. This could lead to Charlotte becoming a realistic destination for impact free agents. While the Hornets would more than likely be overlooked by teams in different locales for the big names in free agency, they should still at least be able to get a player or two who is better than some of the bottom-tier signings that they have recently added to their roster.
