Charlotte has taken advantage of the new rule, which allows NBA teams to carry 21 players into training camp, recently adding four more names to their squad. Frank Ntilikina and JT Thor are on non-guaranteed deals, so they will certainly be feeling the heat now that so many players will be fighting to earn a spot with the Hornets for next season.

When does the Charlotte Hornets training camp start?

As the Hornets will not be competing in preseason games outside of North America, the earliest their veteran players can report to their team is October 2. Then, on October 3, training camp begins.
