2024 NBA Mock Draft 1.0: Hornets trade No. 6 pick, Grizzlies land top star
By Jack Simone
7. Tidjane Salaun, France | Portland Trail Blazers
Like Bilal Coulibaly last year, Tidjane Salaun has rapidly risen up draft boards throughout the past few weeks. His raw talent makes him a solid choice for the Portland Trail Blazers, who will have ample time to develop him.
8. Rob Dillingham, Kentucky | San Antonio Spurs
Why not run it back with the Wildcats backcourt? After landing Reed Sheppard with the fourth pick in the draft, Rob Dillingham would solidify the Spurs’ one-two punch at the guard spots for years to come.
9. Nikola Topic, Serbia | Utah Jazz
An ACL injury could see Nikola Topic rapidly slide down draft boards, but the Utah Jazz aren’t looking to compete for the postseason anytime soon. Taking a chance on Topic at pick nine makes sense.
10. Cody Williams, Colorado | Utah Jazz
With their second pick in a row, the Jazz would be grabbing Cody Williams. After a rocky season with the Buffaloes, he’ll be looking to find his footing in the NBA. He has the raw skill set to be a high-quality, all-around, two-way wing.
11. Dalton Knecht, Tennessee | Chicago Bulls
Dalton Knecht falling to the Chicago Bulls at pick 11 should be their dream. His offensive skill set is exactly what the Bulls should want to put around Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu, as he already has the tools to be a great shot-creator and shooter at the NBA level.
