3 Things Hornets fans can still root for this season

This might seem like an odd thing to tell fans to root for, but Hornets fans need to hear it. It’s okay to keep rooting for wins! Even if they aren’t going to add up to a playoff berth, there is nothing wrong with building winning habits and a culture of winning.
This team and fanbase has suffered far too much losing, to not revel in the simple joy of winning games. The team is fun and competitive now, and lately, they are playing like a team that fans should be proud of.
Rooting for these Hornets to keep finding ways to win games and playing spoiler down the stretch is a great reason to keep tuning in. Hopefully, it’s something they can carry into next season, but even if not that’s fine.
Winning is fun. It’s ultimately the reason to be a fan and to follow a team. If you can’t find joy in the thrill of victory then what’s even the point? Never take winning for granted. We don’t know how long this run will last, or how long this current band of misfits will be together. Just enjoy the ride while it lasts, and don’t let anyone make you feel guilty for rooting for your team to win.
