3 Things Hornets fans can still root for this season

Perhaps you are too caught up in the big picture and the future of the team, and you simply cannot find it in you to tune in and root for a clear lottery team to rack up “meaningless” wins in the final months of the season. That’s okay too.
The Hornets have plenty of young players that are worth watching for growth and development. The obvious name to watch is Brandon Miller. We’ve already seen the 21-year-old rookie make leaps this season, quickly vaulting himself into the Rookie of the Year conversation.
While he won’t win it, watching Miller’s explosion has been awesome, and I can’t wait to keep watching and rooting for him to get even better. He’s the future of the team, and the Hornets’ ability to build a true contender largely revolves around his upside, and his ability to reach that potential.
The journey is well underway, and every game is a learning opportunity and a chance to get better and clear different hurdles. Watching Miller’s game grow is a worthy endeavor and as good a reason as any to tune into the Hornets for the rest of this season.
Other young players worth watching and rooting for include Tre Mann (23 years old), Grant Williams (25), Miles Bridges (25), and Nick Richards (26). Each of them has room to improve and may have another level to reach before they hit their prime which could unlock a higher ceiling for this team going forward.
