5. Kyle Anderson

The Minnesota Timberwolves just wrapped up the team’s best season since the Kevin Garnett years, but now, they face a ton of brutal financial decisions, starting this offseason.

In addition to the current struggle for ownership of the team, the Timberwolves' books are in the gutter, as they owe a lot of money to a lot of different players.

Heading into the summer, Kyle Anderson will be an unrestricted free agent, and while the Wolves could simply decide to pay the money and bring him back, there’s a chance they decide it’s took expensive.

If that becomes the case, the Charlotte Hornets should be one of the teams to swoop in and offer him a deal, as he brings a lot of great things to the table that would help them move up the standings in the Eastern Conference.

Obviously, based on his “Slow Mo” nickname, Anderson isn’t the quickest, most athletic guy on the court, and he’s not a great three-point shooter, either.

But what Anderson does bring to the table is connectivity. He’s one of the better connectors in the league at the forward spot, utilizing his playmaking and awkward scoring ability to help his teams win.

Plus, Anderson is a solid defender who could help Charlotte improve their level of play on that end, which is something they desperately need to do.
