3. Miles Bridges - Somewhat Urgent

Miles Bridges is a player that the Charlotte Hornets could really go either way on. Bridges is a very talented player that could command a big-time contract in free agency as an unrestricted free agent. While the Hornets may want to retain Bridges beyond this season, it would be in their best interest to field any trade offer they can get for the former Michigan State Spartan.

There may be some difficulty when it comes to the Hornets attempting to find a trade partner for Bridges. Even though Bridges has talent, the issue becomes with his issues off the court, which could have resulted in him being considered persona non grata for certain organizations. This obstacle may very well result in trade talks involving Bridges being very sparse and even non-existent.

Should a team actually call about his services, Charlotte would be wise to take pretty much anything they can get for him. While this does seem a bit aggressive, and some may believe it to be unnecessary, there is always a chance that Charlotte will bring him back following the season if they truly believe he is going to be a key cog of their competitive future. But with that time being a few years down the road, steering away from long-term financial commitments is going to be in the best interest of the Hornets for the time being.
