PF: Miles Bridges

Stats: 5 games, 15.0 PPG, 8.2 RPG, 1.8 APG, 1.4 SPG, 34% FG

Strengths: Athleticism

The main reason we all love Bridges is because of how athletic he is. He can fill up every category in the stat sheet and could very well be a triple double machine in the future. Bridges is not scared to be aggressive as he threw many thunderous dunks down and also drove past many defenders. His rebounding is on an elite level and he is also a very good passer.

On the defensive end, he was fearless. The 6’7 and 225 lb forward showed another great aspect of his game. He managed to be a lockdown defender while also averaging 8 rebounds a game. Bridges game will improve as he learns from veterans Nic Batum and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.

Weakness: Field Goal Percentage

It’s not that Bridges took many bad shots, it’s just he couldn’t make open jump shots. Bridges is gifted enough to create his own shot. If he could finish those plays with a basket then this would be a great sight. He shot 34% from the field in play. His three-point percentage was even worse in his Summer League games.

In the final game versus Toronto Bridges shot 5/20 while going just 1/8 for threes. Many shots were missed in clutch opportunities. He has many strengths of his game but this is a weakness that really needs to be worked on.
