10. Hornets season/home opener vs Milwaukee Bucks

This is the day that fans have been waiting for since last season ended. It will have been 189 days between the last game of the 2017-18 season and the first game of the 2018-19 season. This will be the first time since the 2014-15 season that Charlotte opens the regular season at home. They faced Milwaukee that year and won on a Kemba Walker game-winning shot.

The Hornets will take on Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks on Wednesday, November 17th at 7:00 p.m. EST. It will be Charlotte’s first real test of the season as they open up the campaign against a tough opponent in the Bucks who look to be a legit contender in the Eastern Conference. Charlotte’s 2-2 in their last four regular-season openers.

9. First “nationally” televised game @ Philadelphia 76ers

As mentioned before, Charlotte only has four “nationally” televised game over the course of the 2018-19 season. Their second meeting against Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid will be televised on NBA TV. Although it isn’t ESPN or TNT, this is still a big deal considering the Queen City team will only be on national TV four times this season.

This game will take place on Friday, November 9th at 7:00 p.m. EST in Philadelphia. The Sixers look like one of the best teams in the East and this will be a true test for the Hornets early in the season.
