December needs to be the month that keeps on giving wins for the Charlotte Hornets. The team plays nine out of 14 December games in the Queen City in the 2018-19 season. This stretch of games includes a five-game homestand from the 12th to the 21st. During that homestand, Charlotte will host the Detroit Pistons, the New York Knicks, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Detroit Pistons.

It will be absolutely crucial that the Hornets protect their home court this season, as Eastern Conference teams (whom they see three or four times a year) continue to improve. Last season, Buzz City was 21-20 on their home floor; if they want any chance of making the playoffs, the team needs to win at least 30 games at the Hive this year.

The last time Charlotte won 30 games at home in a single season, they comfortably made the playoffs and had one of their best campaigns in recent memory as they finished the year with a 48-34 record (2015-16).

Going off on a bit of a tangent here, but the Hornets ranked TWENTY-SIXTH  in attendance, in 2017-18. The team and individual players put their heart into the game, it’s time Charlotte starts showing some support.
