The 2020 NBA Draft right around the corner. Here’s what the Charlotte Hornets and other teams might do

The NBA Draft is one of the most electric times of the year and following a quick season restructure, the league is planning to tip-off in December and the Charlotte Hornets are one of many teams looking to get better this offseason with the NBA Draft.. With so many young talented players coming from both college and overseas, the draft this year has so many players with unseen potential. The ceilings to these players’ skills can be criminally underrated but there are always some hidden gems in the draft.

This is Swarm and Sting’s fourth installment of a full one-round mock draft. Here is part one, part two and finally part three.

The Hornets have quite a few players on their draft board with their number three overall pick. The team has had several players work out with them and with several players wanting to be passed on by other teams, I’m not quite sure what team will take which prospect in the top ten picks.

Packaging the ticket and trading for some stars around the league is definitely an option and is one that I can support as long as the team doesn’t give away all of the future assets. Picking up a great star like Bradley Beal or Victor Oladipo is something that I can stand behind, however, any lesser player and I would strongly oppose a trade package.
