The Charlotte Hornets chose LaMelo Ball in this year’s draft and it seems like Terry Rozier may have already been dealt, underneath the table.

There is a reason for fans to believe that Terry Rozier has already been traded out of Charlotte(or at least informed that will not stay in Charlotte). I predicted that Rozier would be dangled in trade talks but it seems like he may already be on the way out of Swarm City.

Swarm and Sting screen recorded and posted a video from Terry Rozier’s Instagram story on our Twitter:

In the video it appears that Terry Rozier is helping his friend move out of Charlotte, claiming “Lemme get my boy up on outta here, that’s the car you taking? Sometimes you get shipped up out the city man.” Now, this may seem like Rozier just being sympathetic since he was apart of a sing-and-trade for Kemba Walker, especially with his caption on the video that read “B like dat.”

But if you do more digging Rozier is no longer following the Charlotte Hornets on any social media platforms and seemingly unfollowed the team’s pages. Rozier has also liked a tweet from Twitter user Russ Smith & Russdiculous, that stated “Bro fits the culture”, with a tweet reporting that the Clippers explored a deal for Terry Rozier:

Now the rumors aren’t what’s important here, what’s important to note is Rozier’s liking of the tweet and the statement. Rozier by liking this and distancing himself from the team over social media is hinting that he will not come back to Charlotte next season.

While there hasn’t been an official trade(or one that’s been announced), the organization may have informed Rozier that he would be dealt, with no deal done yet.

Rozier had a career season averaging 18 points per game, with four rebounds and four assists per contest. Rozier also became one of the best catch-and-shoot three-point shooters in the league. Rozier ranked fourth in three-point percentage at the catch-and-shoot only behind Seth Curry, JJ Redick and CJ McCollum.

Rozier’s value definitely rose after last season and after picking Ball, the team will likely put their future in his hands, taking the ball out of Rozier’s hands and maybe even having him come off the bench.
