Regardless of whether the Charlotte Hornets paid too much for Hayward, this is still the best roster to garner the teal and purple in a long time.

There are pros and cons of adding Hayward to the roster but he still makes this team the most capable team the Hornets have had since the 1990s. This roster gives Swarm City an opportunity to make a legitimate postseason push.

The roster will consist of previous All-Star Gordon Hayward, rookie sensation LaMelo Ball, Most Improved candidate Devonte’ Graham, and the sharpshooting talent PJ Washington. Coming off the bench for the Hornets are Terry Rozier(as of right now), Cody Zeller and Miles Bridges.

This roster has some talented players on it from top to bottom and it’ll be interesting to see the team shock the league and be a competitive team within the Eastern Conference.

As Hornets fans let’s try to not think about the future of the organization as much as we should really enjoy the present of a winning team within the NBA. There is a real chance the Hornets will be a playoff team and can be so for the next few years, so Hornets fans get ready to embrace Hayward as he is a major part of the Hornet’s upcoming success.
