Second Lineup: LaMelo Ball, Miles Bridges, Gordon Hayward, Kelly Oubre Jr, PJ Washington

Nickname Idea: The Lil Wayne

Because they’re all like 6’7. Anybody? No? Tough crowd.

This lineup could also be called the “Kupchak Special”, because Kupchak has shown an infatuation with the “tweener” wing/forward type, a la Bridges, PJ Washington, and Kelly Oubre Jr., since taking over. That makes sense, too, because when you acquire enough players of the same build, you can make them wear each other’s jerseys and confuse the other team into thinking they’re someone else because they all have the same body type.

Oh wait, that’s not right. You can start to play truly fluid and positionless basketball. Got it.

Sure, a lineup like this would likely struggle against teams that utilize the post often, the Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks come to mind, but they would hopefully be quick enough as a team to offset some of that size deficiency.

Offensively, this unit should give teams nightmares due to the shooting ability of everyone on the floor, paired with the individual creation skills of Ball, Hayward, and Bridges who showed pretty big flashes the second half of last year.
