Dell Curry

The Charlotte Hornets color commentator has been a Charlotte basketball franchise fixture since 2009. Before that, the color commentator and former NBA shooting guard spent ten years playing for the Charlotte Hornets. The combination of Curry and play-by-play announcer Eric Collins has been incredibly entertaining and informative, even though the team has had limited success.

Curry is also basketball royalty. Curry is the father of Steph Curry and Seth Curry. Both of whom played basketball in college in the state of North Carolina. And both have displayed the same shooting touch that led Dell to sink 929 three-pointers for the Hornets—second overall in franchise history. Given what he has meant to the franchise for years, Dell makes a lot of sense to represent them here. Especially considering he will be describing exactly what the player will be doing on the court in a matter of months.
