Zach Timmons

Zach Timmons is in his second year as an assistant basketball coach at Wake Tech Community College in Raleigh, NC. He previously coached at Caldwell Tech in Hudson, NC for two years and coached at Combine Academy prior to that. In his second year at Caldwell, he helped the Cobras to a 25-8 record, Region 10 Conference title and a berth in the 2022 NJCAA Tournament. Timmons previously wrote for Swarm&Sting on the Fansided Network in 2017 while pursuing his bachelor's degree at UNC Charlotte. He also served as a contributing sportswriter for Charlotte's student paper, the NinerTimes, and also served as a radio color commentator for women's basketball.
