Best NBA prop bets today for Pelicans vs. Hornets (Keep betting on Terry Rozier)

The Charlotte Hornets are down multiple key players at the moment (LaMelo Ball, Mark Williams), but they’ve seen others step up in their absence as of late. 

That has turned some heads in the prop betting market ahead of the team’s Friday night matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans. 

Terry Rozier has been on fire for the Hornets, and while the team is just 2-4 straight up since Ball went down, Rozier has kept the Hornets fighting in these games.

Pelicans vs. Hornets best NBA prop bets

• Terry Rozier OVER 36.5 points, rebounds and assists
• Nick Richards OVER 9.5 rebounds
• CJ McCollum OVER 18.5 points

Terry Rozier OVER 36.5 points, rebounds and assists

Rozier has been on fire since Ball went down with an ankle injury, averaging 28.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 10.0 assists per game over his last six matchups. He’s cleared his PRA prop in all six of those games. 

That’s an impressive streak, and Rozier has been hovering around this 36.5 number in each game. Here’s a look at his PRA in his last six: 

• vs. Brooklyn: 54
• vs. Minnesota: 36
• vs. Chicago: 37
• vs. Toronto: 36
• vs. Miami: 49
• vs. Miami: 38

The market has adjusted for Rozier, but 36.5 still seems a little low considering he’s scored 34 or more points alone in two of these six games. 

Nick Richards OVER 9.5 rebounds

I love this rebounds prop for Nick Richards, who is seeing an extended role with Williams sidelined. 

Williams is listed as doubtful tonight, so I’d expect another big game for Richards on the glass.

The Hornets center played 39:53 in his last game against Miami, grabbing 10 rebounds in the process. He already has four double-digit rebound games this season, including two in his three starts in the 2023-24 campaign. 

CJ McCollum OVER 18.5 points

If there is a Pelicans player to back on Friday, it’s CJ McCollum. 

After a couple of down games scoring the basketball, McCollum has put up 22 and 23 points in each of his last two games. 

He’s shot at least 14 times in every game since returning from a collapsed lung, and he could be in line for a bigger workload if Zion Williamson (questionable) sits out. 

I like the over on McCollum’s points prop at anything under 20.5 on Friday.
